CODE OF CONDUCT
TRIBE’s Code of Conduct
A Living Document Rooted in Integrity, Embodiment & Community Care
Our Commitment
TRIBE is a school and a home for embodiment, learning, and connection.
We are committed to creating and protecting a safe, respectful, and inclusive space where every person, regardless of background, identity, or experience, feels welcome to explore movement, express themselves, and belong.
By joining TRIBE, you agree to uphold our shared values of:
Integrity – walking your talk, honoring your word, and being in right relationship.
Safety – physically, emotionally, spiritually, and energetically.
Respect – for yourself, others, the container, and the land we gather on.
Your Responsibilities
Respect Boundaries
Ask for and receive clear, enthusiastic consent before any physical contact.
Honor verbal and non-verbal “no’s” immediately - no convincing, no pressure.
Be aware of your impact in shared spaces - physical, emotional, and energetic.
Practice sovereignty and don’t assume someone else’s comfort, limits, or openness.
Communicate with Care
Speak and act with respect and presence toward all members, staff, and guests.
Use clear, compassionate language; avoid gossip, passive aggression, or assumptions.
Address concerns directly when possible or bring them to a TRIBE core team member with courage and trust.
Protect the container on and off social media by not tagging TRIBE in posts that are polarizing, political, or energetically charged.
Act with Integrity
Take responsibility for your words, actions, and energy.
Be open to feedback and willing to learn and unlearn.
Avoid behavior that is violent, sexual, harassing, threatening, or manipulative.
Maintain confidentiality in all circles, ceremonies, and private sessions.
Support a Safe Space
Co-create an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome, seen, and heard.
Step aside from dominating or centering yourself in group dynamics.
Clean up after yourself and honor the physical and energetic sanctity of the space.
Hold yourself and others accountable with love, not shame.
Energetic Agreements
Arrive grounded and present. Do not enter sacred space under the influence of drugs/alcohol (unless it is part of a ceremonial protocol).
Honor all sacred tools, altars, and ceremonial practices with reverence.
Refrain from offering healing work, touch, or advice without consent.
Respect the sovereignty of each person’s spiritual path - this is not a place to preach, convert, or “fix.”
For Teachers, Healers & Facilitators
If you are leading within TRIBE, you agree to:
Create containers with clarity and consent.
Hold professional boundaries - no romantic or sexual advances toward students.
Speak from lived experience, not hierarchy.
Honor each person’s autonomy and avoid savior dynamics.
Continue your personal growth journey through mentorship, feedback, and shadow work.
SAFE SPACE ACCOUNTABILITY PROCESS
At TRIBE, we commit to cultivating a culture of integrity, safety, and respect. All members, guests, and staff deserve to be seen, heard, and protected in the spaces we share. The following policy outlines how we address violations of physical, emotional, and communal boundaries.
INCIDENT REPORTING PROCESS
The Incident Report Form to help us respond clearly and appropriately to things that may happen within our four walls. This includes but is not limited to:
Physical injury
Sexual harassment
Inappropriate touch or boundary crossing
Discrimination (race, gender, identity, body, etc.)
Verbal abuse or aggressive behavior
Emotional distress or triggering experience
Why a form? Because verbal complaints can get lost or misunderstood. Just like filing a report with a trusted authority, this form gives us a clear starting point for action.
If filling out a form doesn’t feel right for you, please immediately reach out to one of us: Diara@tribebaltimore.com and Radha@tribebaltimore.com. We’ll create a support plan together.
Note: If your report involves another person in the community, we’ll need to speak with them too to ensure fairness and clarity.
Accountability Levels
The following accountability levels were help developed by Consent Academy in order to create a safe space.
If non-consensual behavior is alleged, the Tribe Support & Accountability Team will speak to all involved parties, and witnesses where appropriate. They will then recommend either no action, a Corrective Intervention, a Moderate Intervention, or a Major Intervention.
Consequences of non-consensual behavior
If a Code of Conduct violation, non-consensual behavior, is alleged, Tribe’s Support and Accountability Team will speak to involved parties and witnesses. They will then recommend either no action, a Corrective Intervention, a Moderate Intervention, or a Major Intervention.
Level 1: Corrective Intervention:
Results in a warning. You will receive a phone call or an in-person conversation.
Examples of transgressions in this category could include non-sexual touch without consent, poor cultural awareness regarding race, gender, age, etc.
Actions May Include:

Education on boundaries and behavior is offered
Level 2: Moderate Intervention:
Examples of transgressions that could trigger a moderate intervention could include consent accidents, repeated corrective interventions, pressuring or badgering someone into an activity when that pressure did not lead to sexual contact, or certain negligent harms.
Actions May Include:
Three-month suspension from TRIBE events (classes, socials, and workshops).
Attendance at a Consent & Communication Workshop is required.
Participation in monitored or instructor-approved spaces (e.g., private lessons or staff-led practices) may be considered during the suspension.
Further education or agreements may be required before reintegration.
Reassessment follows to determine next steps, which may include continued restrictions.
Level 3: Major Intervention:
Examples of transgressions that could trigger a major intervention could include unwanted sexual touch, pressuring someone into an activity that led to sexual contact sexual assault, rape, threatening or abusive behavior in person or online an ongoing pattern of behavior inconsistent with community values and expectations, extreme intoxication, more than one minor or moderate transgression, non-consensual photos taken at an event, or deliberate false incident reports.
Actions May Include:

12-month suspension.
Removal from TRIBE.
Lifetime ban from TRIBE spaces.
Note: The transgressor may be responsible for doing the work and paying for any necessary therapy, coaching, education, or mediation to learn from the incident.
